Cancellation & Rescheduling
Once a lesson has been scheduled and confirmed, a $15 court reservation fee is non-refundable under any circumstances. This fee covers advance court reservations made prior to the lesson. Clients are asked to keep this in mind when booking.
- A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required to receive a refund of the lesson fee, excluding the $15 court reservation fee.
- Lessons canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice are non-refundable in full.
- In the case of a medical emergency, a doctor’s note is required to receive a refund of the lesson fee, excluding the $15 court reservation fee.
- No-shows are charged the full lesson price and are non-refundable.
Financial
Payment Policy
In the event of rain or unsafe court conditions, only Liza may determine whether a lesson will be canceled due to weather.
- Payment is required prior to the scheduled lesson.
- A lesson is considered officially confirmed once payment has been received.
- In the event of an approved refund, the $15 court reservation fee remains non-refundable after lesson confirmation.
Logistics
Arrival & Lateness
Clients are expected to arrive on time for their scheduled lesson.
- Lessons will end at the originally scheduled time, regardless of late arrival, as sessions are booked back-to-back.
- Missed time due to late arrival cannot be made up, extended, or refunded.
- In the event that Liza arrives late to a scheduled lesson, the client’s next lesson will be provided at no charge.
Environment
Weather Policy
In the event of rain or unsafe court conditions, only Liza may determine whether a lesson will be canceled due to weather.
- Clients will be notified of a weather-related cancellation at least two hours prior to the scheduled lesson time.
- Lessons scheduled for 7:00 AM, 8:00 AM, or 9:00 AM will be evaluated and communicated the evening prior.
- No assumptions should be made regarding weather cancellations. Courts may be squeegeed and evaluated prior to the lesson start time.
- Lessons will not be conducted on wet courts due to safety and injury prevention considerations.
