POLICIES

Cancellation & Rescheduling

Once a lesson has been scheduled and confirmed, a $15 court reservation fee is non-refundable under any circumstances. This fee covers advance court reservations made prior to the lesson. Clients are asked to keep this in mind when booking.

  • A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required to receive a refund of the lesson fee, excluding the $15 court reservation fee.
  • Lessons canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice are non-refundable in full.
  • In the case of a medical emergency, a doctor’s note is required to receive a refund of the lesson fee, excluding the $15 court reservation fee.
  • No-shows are charged the full lesson price and are non-refundable.

Payment Policy

In the event of rain or unsafe court conditions, only Liza may determine whether a lesson will be canceled due to weather.

  • Payment is required prior to the scheduled lesson.
  • A lesson is considered officially confirmed once payment has been received.
  • In the event of an approved refund, the $15 court reservation fee remains non-refundable after lesson confirmation.

Arrival & Lateness

Clients are expected to arrive on time for their scheduled lesson.

  • Lessons will end at the originally scheduled time, regardless of late arrival, as sessions are booked back-to-back.
  • Missed time due to late arrival cannot be made up, extended, or refunded.
  • In the event that Liza arrives late to a scheduled lesson, the client’s next lesson will be provided at no charge.

Weather Policy

In the event of rain or unsafe court conditions, only Liza may determine whether a lesson will be canceled due to weather.

  • Clients will be notified of a weather-related cancellation at least two hours prior to the scheduled lesson time.
  • Lessons scheduled for 7:00 AM, 8:00 AM, or 9:00 AM will be evaluated and communicated the evening prior.
  • No assumptions should be made regarding weather cancellations. Courts may be squeegeed and evaluated prior to the lesson start time.
  • Lessons will not be conducted on wet courts due to safety and injury prevention considerations.
